Last weekend we went down to Autzen Stadium in Eugene to see the Oregon vs. Arizona st football game. It was a beautiful evening and as usual in Oregon during November, a night without rain is usually a cold night. When the game started at 7:30 pm, it was reported on the radio we were listening to commentary on that it was 38 degrees out. By the time the game ended at 11:00, the temperature had dropped down to freezing.

It was no problem for us as T is from Oregon so he knows how to dress for the weather, and me I just like to wear clothes. We both had on Patagonia flannel shirts on top of long johns and jeans. Stocking caps, gloves, long coats, and gators are just part of life here from November through March. At least in March you do get a week of spring-preview so we get to take our hats off then.

I am happy to say that Oregon won. It does not really matter that much to me but T is always more cheerful on the Sunday after the Ducks win a game so I always take advantage of that and talk him into doing yardwork. After about two hours of that I know he will be wanting to do something else so I get him to take me shopping.
