Hello Kitty Bicycle For Our Girl

Our daughter has finally reached the age of four and has been wanting to get out of the child-seat T and I both have on the back of our bikes. We quickly knew what bike would be a great starter for her, a Hello Kitty bicycle for girls. Since she enjoys Hello Kitty, we know that she will make an immediate connection with her own bike.

Hello Kitty 6 Inch BicycleWe shopped online and discovered that the introductory sizes for a childs bike is based upon the diameter of the wheel; 10 , 12, 16, and 20 inch wheels for children. We took her to a store that we knew had the bicycles on display and let her sit on the smallest three sizes; 10, 12, and 16 inch wheel diameter bikes. She fit the 10-inch model best and I think in two years she will have outgrown it and require a new 12-inch model.

We got lucky that the Hello Kitty bike we bought also included removable training wheels, a Hello Kitty bike helmet along with kneepads, a single-ding bell, and a front basket. We will give the bike to her next week on her birthday so we are hoping it does not rain that day.
