Too Hot To Go To The Bite
Today was the last day of ‘the Bite’ at our waterfront park. It has been running all weekend but in the heat we have had the past few days, I just didn’t feel like going down until today. Of course, seeing all the same restaurants that we have in town set up down at the Bite just didn’t make it at all appealing. Why would I care if I had a burrito from the store or from the booth.
Well, we left there after a bit and headed to Nordstrom. They have their summer line discounted and the incoming Fall/Winter pieces marked up. I did see a Makowsky handbag that I wanted but will wait to see if my work hours pick up before indulging. I like the 30-hour work week I have but the frills that I could afford are now farther and fewer between…such is life.
